Simond Lavian, Esq., MBA brings nearly 15 years of experience across commercial real estate finance, private credit, lending, investment, and development. His experience includes senior institutional leadership across loan origination, underwriting, credit and investment committee decision-making, asset management, construction lending, workouts and restructurings, valuation, and loan dispositions.
As Managing Director at Calmwater Capital, Mr. Lavian worked across more than 200 commercial real estate transactions representing nearly $4 billion of real estate credit activity, including complex, distressed, and special-situation matters. He also brings the perspective of an active real estate owner, investor, and developer, together with legal training and substantial experience working with counsel on disputes, litigation strategy, depositions, and trial matters.
